Maui Hotels
If you are planning a trip to Maui Hawaii, your hotel accommodations are surely the most important arrangement you will make. This is true no matter where you travel, but especially true for vacation hot spots and beach resorts in locations such as Maui. Where you stay in Maui will have a dramatic effect on your island experience. For this reason, there are several things to consider before you make a decision on your hotel. First of all and most obviously, you should know what areas you plan to visit and centralize your accommodations around it. For example, if you plan to visit Maui for nothing more than beach bumming and relaxing, a beach resort is by far the way to go; and Maui has many spectacular hotel accommodations to choose from. Lets say that you have decided to stay in one of the many Maui Oceanside resort hotels during your stay. This would be the time to consider your pocket book. Depending on whom you make your travel arrangements with and what time of year you arrange your visit, you can get some good discount deals on various Maui hotel packages. However, as a general rule, an Oceanside resort will cost you BIG bucks for an average 4 to 5 night stay! Maui hotels such as the Hana Maui Hotel, is a legendary four-diamond hotel that offers the best in relaxation and romance. In fact the Hana Hotel is the absolute perfect location for a wedding. The Maui Seaside Hotel is a Polynesian style villa on the shores of Kahului Bay. It is also a hop, skip and a jump from Maui’s largest shopping mall. One of my favorite hotels is the Maui Prince Makena Hotel. The Maui Prince Hotel offers an all-inclusive package that features the best in island cuisine, pristine ocean views, golf courses and excellent hospitality services.
Most hotels in Maui are located very close to attractions and shopping districts. They are also only minutes from the Maui Airport. One word of advice if your wallet just cannot handle the price of some of the inclusive Maui resorts, is to try searching for available accommodations online through companies such as Hotwire, Hotels.com and Nextag. Taking the time to do this can get you a great discount on a much nicer hotel than you could normally afford. So, doing your research will pay off immensely here. Also, never underestimate what a good travel agent can do for you. As always, check the Hawaii hotel websites to see which hotel is the best fit for you. Cheap hotels in Maui are not too easy to come by, but it can be done if you are diligent in your search and flexible in your travel dates.
