Atlanta Hotels
If you are planning a trip to Atlanta, your hotel accommodations are probably the most important arrangement you will make. However, there are a few things to consider before you make a decision on your hotel. First of all and most obviously, you should know what you want to see and where exactly you plan to visit on your trip. For example, if you intend to visit Atlanta for business purposes and will spend most of your time in the downtown area, a downtown Atlanta hotel or even one near the airport are probably the best choices. However, if you have plans to spend most of your time in the suburbs of Atlanta and just plan to visit downtown for a small time, you will save a lot of money by staying outside the city. Hotels in downtown Atlanta are plentiful, but pricey as well. Lets say that you have decided that you would like to stay in a hotel in downtown Atlanta for whatever reason. Now it is time to consider your pocket book. You should know that where you intend to stay will greatly affect the amount you should plan to spend on a hotel. For example, if you plan to stay in the heart of the business district, you can expect to pay BIG bucks! The same goes for Atlanta shopping districts. For example, the Omni Hotel in downtown Atlanta is a full service luxury hotel that provides all the amenities most travelers could desire. It is convenient to everything downtown Atlanta has to offer. An Atlanta hotel that is a little less pricey but still provides outstanding service and amenities such as a luxury indoor pool is the downtown Sheraton hotel. It is a favorite among business travelers. If you are traveling to the popular area of Midtown, near the Atlanta aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park, you will also find a Sheraton nearby as well. Midtown also boasts the Indigo Atlanta Midtown hotel, one of the most unique hotels in the business. Again, it is not a discount hotel by any means, but worth every penny.
After you have figured your budget, you should take a look at which Atlanta hotels provide the best amenities within your budget. I would also advise to try searching for available accommodations online through companies such as Hotwire, Hotels.com and Nextag. Taking the time to do this can get you a great discount on a much nicer hotel than you could normally afford.
